KC CYBERSECURITY
COMMUNITY EXPO
About the Event
The KC Cybersecurity Community Expo is a joint-organization event that will transform the August SecKC meeting into a full community celebration. Hosted outdoors at Knuckleheads in KCMO, the event blends a block party atmosphere with genuine professional networking across the metro's various security organizations.
By consolidating calendar space and pooling community resources, we're building something no single org could stage alone — a high-energy, barrier-free event with free food, areas for organizations and sponsors to share their information, and a collaborative spirit that reflects what makes the KC cyber scene so strong.
🔥 BBQ Competition
A centerpiece of the Expo is our live BBQ competition — teams from participating organizations and the community fire up their smokers and battle it out for bragging rights and community glory. Attendees vote on their favorites, turning the cookout into an interactive, crowd-pleasing spectacle.
🍖 Free Food for All
Everything coming off those grills goes straight to attendees — completely free of charge. BBQ & sides are provided to every attendee as part of our commitment to keeping this event fully accessible and community-focused. No ticket required, no purchase necessary.
